YMCMB seems to be the reign that never ends! With plans of launching Cash Money Films this year, Baby aka Birdman is currently conditioning a movie entitled, “Rich Gang” starring Lil Wayne and all of YMCMB.

Wahida Clark, New York Times Best Selling and Cash Money Content author of Payback Ain’t Enough will form the script for the movie that will start filming this fall. Not only does she have the opportunity to write the screenplay for Rich Gang, but Birdman will also bring to life one of her novels under Cash Money Films. Mutual business deals, eh? Beautiful!

So! Funding for “Rich Gang”? Check. Award-winning author to write screenplay? Check. Acting? The verdict is still out. When Birdman asked if he was concerned about the acting skills of his counterparts, he simply replied, “I’m not going to tell no nigga to go to acting school! Just be yourself”. Clearly, he has 100% faith in his team.

I’m anxious to see how “Rich Gang” will play out! Especially since the obvious choice to star in the film, Drake, isn’t starring. Did he forget about his stint as Wheelchair Jimmy? Only real talent can maneuver a wheelchair successfully while producing fake tears.

Regardless, I’m ready for what Birdman calls, “the 2012 Balla Blocking”. Ha!

Over the past two days, the world of Hip Hop has watched in anticipation as the story of rumors of rapping duo, Mobb Deep, breaking up began to unravel. Unfortunately they have unraveled into truths.

Mobb Deep’s Hollywood “Divorce” began on Sunday evening when tweets showed up on Havoc’s (@theRealHavoc) timeline slandering his business partner/”friend”, Prodigy.

Shortly after those tweets were posted via web, Havoc recanted those tweets by tweeting that he left his phone at a gas station and that someone else was posting those tweets. Hmmmm?

Until Tuesday morning, regardless of how ridiculous his excuse was, we had to believe it! No one had information that could solidify that he was obviously lying. Then The Breakfast Club released this audio:

So today we ask, is Havoc lying? My answer; Of course! If it was a “heat of the moment” tweeting rant then say that and keep it moving! It happens to the best of us sometimes.

Most importantly, “What’s Prodigy going to do?” He has clearly been blatantly disrespected by someone he considers a friend. AND they are set to release an album soon. How will this effect the promotion of their album? I’m anxious to hear Prodigy’s rebuttal, if there is one. Stay tuned!

Theraflu fared to be a hit with G.O.O.D Music forerunner, Kanye West, but not with the trademarked company. Upon release of the song, the trusty cold/flu suppressant drink released this statement, “We in no way endorse or approve of the references or the use of the image and likeness of Theraflu in this manner.”

Uh, Duh! Even though one can’t deny the fact that a bottle of Theraflu is featured on the single’s artwork.

Sources haven’t confirmed if Theraflu will sue Kanye West (for use of the image), but any sane person can discern the connection between the two. We aren’t idiots!

But according to PETA, the fans may not be idiots, but Kanye is! After they heard the lyric in Theraflu where Kanye proudly states, ““Tell PETA my mink is draggin’ on the floor.” they quickly released a statement. A very brash statement, staying true to form, of course. PETA’s Senior Vice President Dan Matthews said this,

“What’s draggin’ on the floor is Kanye’s reputation as a man with no empathy for animals or human beings. He’s a great musician but doesn’t seem to have the fashion sense to design anything more than caveman costumes. We keep hoping that one day he’ll find his heart and join evolved style icons—including Russell Simmons, Pink, and Natalie Portman—who have dropped animal skins……Kanye can’t help making himself look like an idiot, whether at an awards show or a fashion show.”

I don’t care how great of a musician you are, you can’t play with PETA. Ha!
